I had the pleasure of flying the Nascar Nationwide Series race last night, the Bubba Burger 250, at Richmond International Raceway. It was my first Nascar event and was a lot of fun up there watching them race "under the lights." The power of the race cars is amazing. You can actually feel it in the pedals of the ship when you are flying over the track as they pass. Also as you may be able to notice in the short video at the bottom, you can actually hear the roar of the engines over our two prop engines, even with our headsets on.
After the race, I encountered some serious headwinds on the way back to the airport last night, but over all it was a great night at the races.
